Fun activities and sports

The Nautical Club of Cleder (20 minutes walking, 5 minutes by car) offers numerous water sports ranging from windsurfing to catamaran (On Amiet beach). Feel free to contact them for reservations or information.

Amiet beach also allows you to practice, body surfing, surfing, sand yachting, kite flying. To book, call 02/98/83/55/17.

Enthusiasts kite surfing will be delighted with a quality spot appreciated by specialists, on the Dossen’s beach (Municipality of Santec, 20 minutes by car) or on Keremma beach (Municipality of Plouescat, 10 minutes by car).

A part of sea fishing is proposed by Valerie and Charles-Henri CANTO (Bretagne-Bar) in Carantec (20 minutes by car).

Bike rental in Roscoff

Do not enter in Finistère without stopping Roscoff, pirate city (cité pirate in french), "small town character of Britain" (petite cité de caractère de Bretagne) label issued under strict conditions (20 min).

Visits, relaxation, gastronomy

The common Cléder extends about 4km, alternating sandy beaches, coves, rocks and fanciful cove anchorage. Its unspoilt coastline, dunes protected, are good for relaxation, sport or discovery. In about 5 minutes by car, you´re on the beach.

Lovers of old stone and heritage will be delighted to discover the “Tronjoly” manor, 5 minutes, Castle “Kergounadéac´h” 15mn or “Kermenguy” manor.

At 40 min, overlooking the sea, the Barnenez’s Cairn is the largest megalithic mausoleum of Europe. Its Situation and history make it a place imbued with magic (40 minutes by car, near Morlaix).

Markets are numerous and you can every day, if you feel like it, go for fresh produce and seafood. Undoubtedly, colors and flavors markets will open the appetite. Maybe you want to come back with a souvenir, a painting, a sculpture ......... and many artisans are talented. List of markets.
And especially, in summer, on Sunday morning, do not miss the market Kerfissien, front of the sea (1 minute walking).

To put your feet under the table (french expression), you’ll find a lot of restaurants.

-In Saint-Pol de Léon, the “Auberge de la Pomme d´Api”(one star in Michelin), offers fine dining in a cordial atmosphere full of history.

-In Roscoff (20 minutes driving), facing the sea and the port, Les Alizés, sea fruits, fishes in a very nice setting.

-In Roscoff (20 minutes driving), La moule au Pot déclines mussels in all its forms, for amateurs.

-In Roscoff, not to be missed the Crêperie « Les Amours Jaunes » (20 minutes driving), crêpes are marvelous and Hélène, the boss, is an angel.

- In Plouescat on Porsmeur beach, the Roc´h Armor restaurant, welcomes you for a moment facing the sea while enjoying a high quality cuisine. It is essential to book.

Arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm. If you are going to be late, please let us or the contact person know as early as possible so we can welcome you at the villa at the agreed time. Have a safe journey.

Driving directions

From Rennes, follow the expressway to N12/E50 Morlaix. You exit at Morlaix-Roscoff North-South leadership.

Take the D58 and the D788 towards Roscoff until Saint-Pol de Leon.

At roundabout Kergompez, take the D10 to the left until Cleder, and Kerfissien, Theven Kerbrat road, Brouan road and finally Ker Porz Striz road on your right, your vacation spot.

Brest-Guipavas Airport (about 53km )

The aerodrome of Ploujean-Morlaix , sometimes, will bring you a solution.

Other transport

In Morlaix (30mn) you´ll find a TGV train station. Paris-Morlaix in 4 hours.Many visitors arrive by ferry (Roscoff). There are two companies : Brittany Ferries. Destinations are Plymouth, Cork and Santander.
