Emile Verhaeren wrote in 1902: "I cannot see the sea without dreaming of travel"
What better ambassador for this poet that The Villa Les Sablettes. It can comfortably accommodate 8 people with its 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and two ensuite bathrooms. The house, extremely well designed and comfortable is facing the sea. Upstairs, the Master Bedroom offers a sea view visible from your bed and benefits from its own private bathroom (with bath and shower) as well as a beautiful office space.
The teak floor invites you to walk barefoot and to enjoy the passing time. Outdoor terraces extend the sea side’s living space and are an undeniable asset to this peaceful heaven.
At high tide, when the coefficients are sufficient, the water is only a few centimetres from the terrace. At low tide, foot fishing enthusiasts will be pleased to pick clams right on the beach in front of the house. This little heaven will be the starting point of marvellous seaside walks, from creek coves to creek coves. The small beach is at your feet, protected from the wind and almost literally private.
Many seabirds, such as cormorants, egrets, kingfishers ... come to fish outside the house and birding enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the ornithological station on the “Ile Grande”.
The house is located on the border between Pleumeur-Bodou and Trebeurden.
The Arthurian soul hangs over this little corner of paradise and King Arthur never really leaves our thoughts. His half-sister, the fairy Morgane ("born of the sea" in Breton) seams to protect this little sea winds paradise with her powers. This small creek in which the house is set, is simply "Sheltered". The olive tree and the fig tree in the garden can attest to it.
The house also offers a screening room. Your holiday home awaits you.

Visits, relaxation, gastronomy
You will find Pleumeur-Bodou in the northwest of the county, at the very end of “Côtes-d´Armor” by the “pays du Trégor”along the Channel shores. "Pleumeur" means "large parish" while “Bodou" comes from Saint Bodo (or Podo), who was the founder of the town. The township includes the town itself as well as many villages or hamlets and an island, “Île-Grande” (Enez Veur in Breton), near by the Villa. The town is standing on a granit soil (the famous coast pink granit). The coastline of Pleumeur stretches for 10 miles and has a lot of little islands, coves, beaches and striking small ports. The main sites are “Ile Grande”, “Keryvon Bay” and “Landrellec peninsula”. The town has several beaches, including those of “Pors-Gelen, “Toul-Gwenn”, “Keryvon” and “Landrellec”. Many islands are scattered around the coast. The best known are “Aganton Island”, “Losket island”, “Erc´h island”, “Morvil island” and mainly “Aval Island” (see: Avalon), where, according to the legend, King Arthur would be in “Dormition” (Aval island is privately owned and its visit is prohibited) .The town also hosts a wood shared with “Trébeurden”: wood of Lann Ar-Waremm which hosts deers, woodcocks, squirrels, foxes and many birds species. Some coastal streams run through the town: the Kerduel flows into the Perros-Guirec bay, the Ker-Huel in Penvern, and Samson in the Keryvon Bay. Pleumeur-Bodou has also many trekking and biking paths all along the coast, in the woods or across the moor.
The PLEUMEUR - BODOU Heritage is important : the megaliths ( covered walkways of Ile Grande or Christianised standing stones “menhir” of Saint- Uzec ) , chapels ( Saint- Samson, Saint Uzec , Saint Anthony ) Kerduel Castle, hamlets of character ( Ile Grande lanes, Kerianegan , Saint Uzec ) .
